Pointing out that Iran is one of the largest producers of urea and ammonia in the region, which in the near future will be one of the largest producers of methanol in the world, Mahdavi said: "There should be coherent and integrated export planning to compete with other Have countries in the world.

He continued: "Now, due to the lack of centralized trade, we must coordinate the specialized producers of the petrochemical industry." If pricing and export coordination are unified, the world will recognize us as a major exporter of this product and will lead to global credibility for Iran's petrochemical industry.

The Secretary General of the Petrochemical Industry Employers' Association, stating that the production capacity of the petrochemical industry has undergone a good development process in the Sixth Development Plan, said: "We must move to achieve the target markets with cooperation and empathy."

Noting that the global methanol market is saturated and the global demand is declining with the monitoring of applicant countries such as China and the United States, he said: "Completing the value chain and producing olefin or polypropylene from methanol is more economical for producers and a competitive market."
