PTFE Gaskets
PTFE Gaskets
Gaskets made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) are known for their excellent chemical resistance to highly corrosive environments. However, this model of gaskets has temperature and pressure limitations. The use of fillers such as carbon and glass increases its resistance to creep.

These composite gaskets include a PTFE surface and a non-asbestos or rubber middle part. In this way, the gasket will have the chemical resistance properties of PTFEA as well as the mechanical properties of the intermediate material. The most important uses of Enolope PTFE gaskets are tanks and glass cover fittings.
